Wacom's tablets are known for their sophisticated design and the exquisite, natural control they offer. The professional-geared Intuos3 line has seemed like a thing of near perfection, but now Wacom has released the next advance in this series, Intuos4. And somehow, its new features make the previous models seem like relics. Some highlights:
Doubled Sensitivity - The tablet detects 2048 levels of pressure starting at a single gram of pressure, giving you pinpoint control of your editing.
OLED ExpressKeys - An illuminated display notes what custom function is assigned to each key.
Ambidextrous Ergonomics - All the custom controls have been moved to one side, so lefties and righties get the same functionality by rotating the tablet 180-degrees. This also allows for faster, more intuitive control with the hand you're not drawing with.
Finger-sensitive Touch Ring - This "key" works just like the click wheel on an iPod and can be assigned up to four different adjustment types, such as zooming, scrolling, brush size, and canvas rotation.
