The Starlite was specifically designed to work with a soft box. This compact light contains an extra-long bulb which extends into the center of the soft box. The light is evenly directed into the corners of the box, allowing it to exit with softer shadow and minimum light loss.
The Starlite's bulb (3200 K) is rated to last 2000 hours, five times longer than conventional halogen bulbs! Unlike other hot lights, the Starlite's housing can be touched after eight hours of continuous use. An outer glass shield and glass envelope protect and prolong bulb life.
For the most power efficiency, use the Starlite with Photoflex's Silverdome FV soft box. This duo produces up to 1/2-stop more power than any other light/soft box combination on the market.
The Starlite weighs less than 3 lbs. and comes complete with its protective metal casing for safe and easy transportation. Accepts lamps up to 1000 watts. Dimensions: 10-1/4(l) x 3-5/8"(w).
