Lexar's
Platinum series is designed for digital cameras that capture video and
still images. Speed-rated at 40x, it's equivalent to a minimum
sustained data read and write speed capability of 6MB per second. Lexar
defines "x" within its speed-rating system as equivalent to a minimum
write speed capability of 150 kilobytes per second. The Platinum series products include a limited lifetime
warranty.
