Used in conjunction with the ground glass for brighter, full image viewing with focusing cloths or viewing hoods.
The Fresnel for the Cambo/Calumet 4x5 cameras mounts on the outside of the camera and does not require any tools for installation. The ground glass retaining clips are designed to hold the Cambo Fresnel in place without removing them from the camera making instalation and removal literally a "snap".
To Install:
With the textured side toward the ground glass, place a long side of the fresnel against the tabs of one of the retaining clips.
Push the fresnel flat against the ground glass so that it "snaps" in place and is held between both of the retaining clips.
