Lithium bateries take up to 600 pictures while leading ordinary alkaline batteries take only up to 90 pictures. They weigh 1/3 less than standard alkaline batteries and perform in even the most extreme temperatures from -40 to 140 degrees F. They also feature a 15-year shelf life.
