This time- and money-saving adapter converts your existing light stand into a lightweight and portable boom. The Transformer is practically universal, designed to fit most standard light stands, including Matthews, Bogen Avenger, Calumet and Manfrotto. Simply remove the top telescoping sections* of your existing stand, insert them into the Transformer adapter and mount the adapter to the top of your stand. Voila, your regular light stand becomes an immediate boom, with telescoping arm, easy angle adjustment and the ability to be quickly reverted back to a regular stand.
