The Tenba Roadie Universal Photo Roller is designed to meet the requirements for all standard-size airline overhead compartments, including the more restrictive allowances imposed by many international carriers. The case has outer dimensions of just 20 x 14 x 8 inches, yet boasts a surprisingly high-capacity interior, large enough for a full professional camera setup with a 400mm lens.
The Roadie is constructed of rugged, water-resistant ballistic nylon overlaid with ripstop reinforcement panels at key wear and stress points. Large, self-healing YKK zippers secure the compartment openings. The case rolls smoothly and silently on urethane inline skate wheels, protected by low-profile wheel housings and a rear stair/curb guard. Inside the case is a fully-customizable photo module with movable padded walls that can be arranged to suit any equipment setup. The walls can even be arranged to create a photo section in the bottom half of the case and an open area above, for overnight packing or other non-photo items. Or, the entire module can be removed – with or without equipment inside – and the case used as standard rolling travel luggage.
Other features include an expandable front pocket large enough to store a laptop up to 17 inches, side-mounted tripod/monopod holder, and bungee cords for holding reflector discs or similar items.
