For fashion, people, nature, architectural photography and moving subjects, the Sinarback 54 H is a great solution. With its 4-shot capability it is well-suited for perfect still-life photographs with perfect colors, and with its 16-shot capability the Sinarback 54 H also provides fine detail rendition.
In the 1-shot mode (for action photographs), in the 4-shot mode (for still lifes) and in the 16-shot mode (for the highest possible detail resolution), Sinar digital backs produce images that are needle-sharp, with faithful color rendition. To safeguard optimal results, the CCD sensor used in the Sinarback 54 H is cooled thermo-electrically. The unique Hardware Anti-Moire function of the Sinarback 54 H even makes it possible to render critical action shots with delicate patterns faithfully.
With the multi-shot digital back, Sinar makes perfected micro-scanning possible: The sensor is shifted with the highest precision by half the width of a pixel in 16 exposures, so that the spaces between the sensor's pixels are also recorded. Like the 4-shot technique and unlike the 1-shot technique, micro-scanning produces complete color information for every pixel. By means of the four-fold data information available from a single exposure, the resolution can again be increased significantly. The combination of the microscan technique and high-resolution Sinaron lenses that is available exclusively in the Sinar System produces images with unique brilliance, sharpness and incredible resolution.
The Sinarback 54 H can be adapted to virtually all medium format cameras. This eliminates the limitation to a specific camera system. To change the camera, all the photographer needs to do is to change adapter plates. That makes it possible to achieve the maximum resolution of more than 22 million pixels with most modern medium format cameras practically without the need for increased focal lengths.
