This package includes the Sinar Hy6 Medium Format Camera Body equipped with the Sinarback 54 MC.
The Sinar Hy6 is currently the only medium format AF camera that not only covers the usual 6x4.5 format, but also the classic 6x6 format and thereby has still room for even larger CCDs. With its central shutter and a shutter speed of only 1/1000 second, it is also the fastest camera in its class.

The Sinarback 54 MC digital back is the new and improved version of the Sinarback 54 M and is the most compact professional digital camara back with 22 million pixels resolution. The key difference is that Sinarback 54 MC is actively cooled with Peltier and a fan, allowing for a considerable reduction of noise and even more striking images. It adapts to the Sinar m, the Sinar view cameras and to virtually all medium format cameras. Despite its small size (87 x 87 x 45 mm) and its light weight (approx. 400 g), the new Sinarback 54 MC is a thoroughbred high-end product for top-resolution images in the 1-shot mode.
The Sinarback 54 MC includes all of the features of the Sinarback 54M, such as the adapter kits, the capturing software, and the cabling.

- In conjunction with the modular Sinar m system, virtually all functions between the Sinar m system and the Sinarback 54 MC are controlled via Firewire
- For maximum image noise reduction, the CCD sensor is cooled by a regulated Peltier element and a fan
- For images taken with wide-angle cameras without mirrors or images taken with view cameras, the Sinarback 54 MC offers a live image function for pixel-precise focusing
