This is a table-top, heat-activated dry-mounting system that is a good general purpose press for daily usage. It utilizes uniform heat and pressure to mount, laminate and texturize prints on substrates up to 1" in thickness. This press develops over 1,200 lbs. of pressure on its 18 1/2 x 23" (47 x 58.5cm) platen, which handles work in sections up to 36" (91.5cm) wide by any length.
The free-floating platen sits on the work without shifting and provides uniform pressure across entire surface. Extended temperature range thermostatically controlled from 150° - 350°F. Non-stick surface on platen. Comes with a direct temperature readout for precise control. U.L. Listed.
