The Softlighter provides the convenience of an umbrella with light quality commonly associated with a softbox. The design allows the fireproof* diffusion material to be brought closer to the light source, which creates a softer light source than a traditional umbrella.
The Softlighter fits over any light head with a diameter of 7 1/4" or less, and assembles in a matter of minutes. It also has a removable black cover, which converts the Softlighter in to a "shoot through" umbrella.
* As with any material, use care when model lights are used.
