Plus, this ultra-light, flat-profile system adapts to a variety of lighting situations. The LP-1x1 mounts on a light stand or tripod via a yoke. Multiple panels can be configured together to form 2'x2' or 4'x4' setups -- making it easy to customize the LP-1x1 to meet a job's special requirements.
The LP-1x1's groundbreaking design provides operators with a unique look-through capability. The housing features an integrated pattern of hundreds of precisely aligned mini-portals. This enables you to view the subject being illuminated from behind the unit. Plus, the LP-1x1 shares many innovative features of other Litepanels products. An integrated control knob on the back enables instant dimming from 0 to 100% with no shift in color. Absolutely silent and heat-free, the system can be positioned comfortably close to a subject's face, filling it with an unmatched quality of soft, wrap around light. The LP-1x1 comes standard with cabled and wireless remote dimming capability.
The LP-1x1 is powered via an external 90-260V AC switching adapter, which provides 24V DC to the unit. Equipped with an optional XLR connector power cable, the LP-1x1 can also run off a variety of 18-28V DC sources, including a standard camera battery or car battery.
This kit provides the basic essentials for using the Litepanels 1x1. Its included daylight-balanced Spot-style 1x1 yields a 30 degree spread.
