The MulitMate is made from a durable LDPE plastic that is not only close to being indestructible, it's friendly because it can be recycled. Simply place your Multi Format into the tray and securely buckle it in. The case is held in place with 2" wide webbing with a buckle down closure. Work out of the case while it's in the MultiMate assembly. It's not necessary to zip up the case each time; just buckle down the lid and you're off to the next set-up. The handle assembly is incorporated in the body of the tray so it is well protected from luggage eating conveyor belts and uncaring baggage handlers.
The entire unit is designed to be checked as luggage or the MF2012 with the MM2012 still fits through that wretched little template at the airport so you're sure to the gear in sight all the time.
