Three of Lee's most popular "hard" graduated filters make up this kit. ("Hard" indicates a clearly defined cut-off point for the color. "Soft" graduates gently change from color to clear.) Yellow, Cyan and Magenta filters are used mainly to create special effects and to color a section of the image chosen by the photographer. By using these filters in varying combinations, red, blue and green effects can additionally be created.
