Polyester filters offer many advantages over the traditional gelatin filters and are priced at a substantial savings! Polyester filters will withstand the rigors of daily studio or location use for a longer life than gelatin filters. They're impervious to water and can be cleaned quite easily and safely. A 100-micron (0.1mm) polyester film offers an extremely smooth surface and a highly efficient transmission rate with no image degradation. Dye colors are fused into the filter and will retain their color value, even after extended use.
