The K-102CCR Klassic boom is designed for use with ENG and documentary work. It has an internal coiled cord with a female XLR connector at the top and a K-CCR male XLR (side connector) at the base. Having the connector on the side allows the operator to rest the pole on its base between takes without damaging the wiring.
Collapsed the pole is only 2' 2". long. Its five sections extend the length to 8' 9".
