Kodak Sepia II Warm Toner produces noticeably warmer tones on most black-and-white papers than the current Kodak Sepia Toner.
You'll notice a greater effect when you use this toner with newer papers, such as Kodak Polymax Fine-Art Paper, which incorporates new emulsion technology. The tone shift may vary with paper contrast grade, the paper developer and the development time/temperature used.
Like the original sepia toner, this is a two-solution toner and is supplied in a packet that includes a bleach and a redeveloper/toner. Like other toners, Kodak Sepia II Warm Toner will improve the image stability of treated prints.
When you use Sepia II Warm Toner to treat netural-tone papers, such as Kodak Polymax II RC Paper, it will produce appealing warm brown tones that are appropriate for many subjects, such as portraits and architecture. Used with warm-tone papers, it will extend the warmth beyond the degree of color shift normally associated with the current Kodak Sepia Toner.
