Product Features

Neschen-Accutech coating liquids are able to coat most printed output on the market including Ink-jet, Dye-sublimation, Electrostatic, Photographic, Graphic Arts, Vehicle & Fleet Graphics, Canvas, Vinyl and Film.

One gallon of Acculac coats approx. 5000-6500 8x10 prints, or 3500 square feet of digital material, depending upon coating thickness, viscosity and substrate composition.

Water Based Coatings will perform at any production speed. Application speed should be adjusted on the ?Accu-Coater? based upon ambient conditions (slower speeds at higher relative humidity) or based upon substrate requirements. Non-absorbent substrates (film) may require slower speeds to insure ?flash drying? of the coating and to eliminate surface marring caused by contact with other prints. Note: Images can easily be re-coated to ?touch-up? any imperfections. Very absorbent substrates may need to be coated more than once for proper protection.

Acculac coatings are available ready to use at an optimal viscosity range of 25-40 seconds with a #2 Zahn Cup. If the viscosity increases during long usage, simply add our Accu-Replenisher 500 solution or small amounts of water to return to the desired viscosity range. Acculac can also be cut with distilled water

Acculac coatings are manufactured to be pH stable, and have an optimal pH range of between 8.0 and 9.5. Addition of household ammonia (unscented) can be used to raise the pH if necessary.

Acculac coatings utilize proprietary internal cross-linking chemistry to provide maximum resistance properties. Acculac will be touch dry in seconds, and show initial water resistance after 10 minutes. Maximum moisture and scuff resistance will fully develop after 24 hours.

Acculac coatings have shown no stability problems after one year of storage. Correct storage conditions are important factors in prolonging shelf life. Avoid freezing temperatures. If frozen, allow coating to return to room temperature before using. Shake well prior to use. Acculac 1000 Luster and Matte may exhibit some settling after prolonged storage. Simply shake well before use.

The recommended cleaning solution for removing hardened coatings is denatured alcohol, ammonia and household detergents. WARNING: Do not use alcohol solutions on coated images
