LaserSoft Imaging SilverFast 6.5 for Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400

SilverFast is designed to operate using the full bit-depth of the scanner and can ouput edited images as either 24-bit or 48-bit color and 8-bit or 16-bit grayscale. SilverFast 6.5 requires Windows 2000, Windows XP or Macintosh OS-X 10.3 or higher. *Includes IT8 Calibration Target.

• SCC (Selective Colour Correction) can operate up to four layers with each layer having its own independent color correction. Four objects comprising the same initial RGB value can now be treated as different colors. This allows you to easily make complex color corrections.
• SRD (Smart Removal of Defects) automatically recognizes dust and scratches. Tough scratches that cannot be removed using the normal settings can be handled in another layer or by using the Expert mode.
• SC2G (Selective Color to Gray) lets you control the way colors convert into shades of gray.
• ACR (Adaptive Color Restoration) helps to reduce the effects of the aging process by restoring faded colors to old negatives.
• Auto IT8-Calibration allows you to get consistent colors with a single mouse click.
• NegaFix offers a fast and simple solution to the existing issue of residual color casts in negative film profiles.
• CCR (Color Cast Removal) neutralizes distracting color casts or remnants with a single click.
• Automatic Frame Detection lets multiple reflective or transparent images to be selected, scanned and optimized automatically.
• Easily convert scans into PDF files.
• Automatic Descreening Filter removes any screen dots from printed images.
