The D-Link DBT-120 USB Bluetooth Adapter enables short-range wireless data connectivity between computers and Bluetooth enabled devices. Bluetooth is an open specification for wireless data transmission that operates on the globally available 2.4GHz radio frequency. Bluetooth devices can communicate with each other within a 30-foot range.
How to add Bluetooth to your Mac
Enabling Bluetooth on your Mac is simple.
- Upgrade your Macintosh to Jaguar, OS 10.2.
- Plug in the Bluetooth USB Adapter to any available USB port on your PowerBook G4, iBook, PowerMac G4 or iMac (in the case of the PowerMac G4 and iMac, you can attach the Bluetooth USB Adapter to the free USB port on your keyboard).
- Launch the Bluetooth preferences to setup Bluetooth-enabled devices within range of your computer.
- Select the Bluetooth device on the list and click the Pair button.
- Congratulations, you're connected!
