The H-D2HX FlipUp Cap clips into place just like the OEM cap that comes with the Nikon D2H and D2X cameras. The cap provides protection for the delicate LCD screen in closed position. The cap also extends below the LCD screen to protect the menu display. The cap flips up into a three sided hood for improved outdoor viewing.
