Fujifilm's Hyper Utility consists of two applications to allow professional users get the most out of their Fujifilm DSLR SPro Series Camera. The RAW File Converter EX is software that converts CCD-RAW data shot on the camera to TIFF image files. While the Camera Shooting Software allows you to connect the camera to your computer and then take pictures and specify the photography settings from the computer.
HS-V3 Hyper-Utility Software uses 3D-LUT (Look Up Table) image processing technology to convert CCD-RAW 14bit data into image data files with high precision. Fujifilm technology lets you replicate color quality that approaches that of film. Use "Fujichrome" Mode to reproduce blue skies with amazing clarity and enhance photos with luxuriously saturated color. Choose the "Pronegative" Mode for tonal touch and broad color reproduction rivaling professional negative film.
With the mirror in the up position, PC "Live View" lets you use the HS-V3 window to directly view the image seen through the lens of the camera via USB cable. It is ideal for focus and view angle settings for high-angle shots that are difficult to check in the viewfinder. HS-V3 also allows you to release the shutter with a mouse click when you're camera is connected to your computer by USB cable. Right after the shot, the image can be displayed and checked for focus, color quality and other details.
