The EIZO ColorEdge 30" Widescreen Color LCD monitor with its native resolution of 2560 x 1600 gives you plenty of space to work in. Use the entire screen for working with one PC or take advantage of the picture-by-picture function and display two different PC sources at once without a distracting bezel between them.
As a premium edition model, the ColorEdge CG301W is equipped with EIZO’s Digital Uniformity Equalizer function and comes with a shading hood. It also comes bundled with ColorNavigatior Calibration software which offers 12-bit hardware calibration.
To ensure that the most accurate and consistent color gradations possible, EIZO carefully measures and sets every shade of R, G, and B from 0 – 255 on the production line with the monitor's 12-bit Look-Up Table (LUT), to produce a monitor gamma value of 1.8. If a different value is preferred, the bundled ColorNavigator software can be used to assign a value ranging from 1.0 – 2.6 in increments of 0.1.
The ColorEdge CG301W has a color gamut that reproduces 97% of the Adobe RGB color space so it can display most colors in a photograph taken in Adobe RGB mode and CMYK color spaces used for printing. In addition it has an sRGB mode to accurately reproduce this narrower but commonly used color space used on web pages.
Dual DVI-D inputs (digital) are included for connecting to two PCs. One input supports dual link for displaying resolutions up to the monitor’s maximum of 2560 × 1600, and the other input is single link for resolutions up to 1920 × 1200. The single link input supports high bandwidth digital content protection (HDCP) for viewing of content from HDCP-equipped devices.
An included overdrive circuit provides a 6 ms midtone response time, enhancing the monitor's moving image playback capabilities. This vastly improves the LCD panel’s response time for changing between midtones or gray levels, which is necessary to display color images without blurring.
