The ExpoDisc is an easy to use custom white balance filter for your digital SLR or video camera. Simply read and set white balance with the ExpoDisc in place before shooting to capture more accurate color. You'll reduce or eliminate the need for post-capture color adjustments.
The ExpoDisc Portrait filter allows the photographer to apply custom warming to the image through the same white balance procedure. This process eliminates the need for glass filters or post process custom color adjustments. The warming effect is similar to that produced through the use of an 81A warming filter, and is intended to improve skin tones in portrait photography.
The ExpoDisc is a hand-calibrated, neutral diffusion filter that effectively turns your camera into an incident light and color meter. The resulting 18% gray frame can be used as a white balance reference, exposure reference, or dust mapping reference. Whether using JPEG, TIFF or RAW files shooting a custom white balance with the ExpoDisc will improve image quality, and save valuable time.
