The BG-E2N Battery Grip not only provides more power to the EOS 30D or 40D - it also enhances the camera's handling with the addition of a vertical shutter release with Shutter, Main Dial, AF Point Selection, AF/FE Lock, and AV +/- function control. The grip also features advanced sealing material around the battery compartment to better resist water and dust.
