This unit is completely cordless. The FW7Q mounts flush to a Qflash 4d or 5d, and requires no batteries. Mount an FW9T or FW10/10w transmitter and FW12 Hot Shoe Adapter to the camera and be totally wireless. Also, add a D or Dw series QTTL adapter between the FW9T Transmitter and the camera and transmit your camera's f/stop, ISO, and TTL exposure information to the remote Qflash 5d.
