This Ultima 35 vertical mount is designed for the Canon EOS 20D (sold separately). The mount allows you to attach the camera vertically to the Ultima 35 frame.
A battery grip (not included) must be mounted on the 20D. The battery grip holds batteries that power the camera and the battery grip allows you to attach your camera to this vertical mounting plate.
The 20D functions as the capture device and the Ultima 35 system (sold separately) is hardware that swings, tilts and shifts, both laterally and vertically, for critical focusing.
