This back mounts directly to the 2 1/4 x 3 1/4" rear frame and accepts most medium format digital backs from Kodak, Leaf and Phase One. The Multistep Sliding Back can be used to capture individual images or can be used to place two or three images next to each other where they can be "stitched" with special software into larger file images, such as spreads or panoramics
The Multistep Sliding Back requires mounting plates for specific model backs. As new digital formats are introduced, Cambo will develop new products to accomodate them. Medium format backs require lenses with shutters and special dedicated Kapture Group cable releases.
