This complete video tripod kit comes with the 501HDV pro video head, 755XB lightweight video tripod, and MBAG80P carrying bag.
The 501HDV has a completely new ergonomic, easy-to-use, functional design; features include larger ergonomic knobs and locks allowing for a more solid grip and better fingertip control. It has an improved and adjustable counter balance capacity - a fixed counterbalance spring helps ensure both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety even when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. A switch controls the different counterbalance settings allowing the user to adjust the system to accommodate various payloads and different filming setups.
Additional features on the 501HDV include: a secondary security lock that stops the quick release lever from opening fully preventing you from accidentally releasing the plate (and camera) without meaning to; special Teflon-coated discs instead of fluid cartridges to ensure smooth movement and consistent friction of the head; separate locks on each axis of movement which allow for precision adjustment of panning and tracking on any axis and two separate axes of movement – panoramic rotation and front-rear tilt.
Designed for professional videographers, the 755XBK is an extremely versatile tripod, entirely made from aluminum. Similar to the 745XB, it has a removable long and adjustable centre column with built-in 50 mm leveling ball and bubble spirit level that can easily be re-fitted as a lateral arm. The 755XBK is a perfect support for MiniDV and HDV cameras.
