This complete video tripod kit comes with the 501HDV Pro Video Head, 525MVB Video Tripod, and MBAG90P carrying bag, and floor level spreader.
Inside the 501HDV is a fixed counterbalance spring (set for a typical weight of camera plus accessories of 5.5lbs) that helps ensure both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety even when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. The easy-to-reach on/off switch allows the counterbalance system to be disengaged or re-engaged for different filming setups.
On the outside, the 501HDV has been designed for improved ergonomics with locks and knobs that allow a more solid grip and better fingertip control. The 501HDV also features separate pan and tilt locks, gradual tilt friction adjustment system, flat base (with standard 3/8" thread), quick release camera plate and repositionable pan bar.
The 525MVB is a two stage, lightweight, high tensile aluminum tripod that is extremely rigid and stable. It has a die-cast aluminum crown with a built-in 75mm interface bowl, adjustable leg clamp levers for reliability and safety in the field and a floor-level spreader which aides tripod leg angle setting adjustment. The lowest leg section has twin spiked metal feet and can also be equipped with optional spiked feet shoes and different types of dollies.
