This complete video tripod kit comes with the 055XB Tripod,501HDV Pro Video Head, and MBAG80 carrying bag.
Built on the same ergonomically improved design as the 055XPROB, but without the horizontal center column feature, the 055XB is lighter in weight and slightly more compact. It also features an ergonomic leg angle release mechanism and quick action leg locks.
501HDV Pro Video Head
Inside the 501HDV is a fixed counterbalance spring (set for a typical weight of camera plus accessories of 5.5lbs) that helps ensure both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety even when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. The easy-to-reach on/off switch allows the counterbalance system to be disengaged or re-engaged for different filming setups.
On the outside, the 501HDV has been designed for improved ergonomics with locks and knobs that allow a more solid grip and better fingertip control. The 501HDV also features separate pan and tilt locks, gradual tilt friction adjustment system, flat base (with standard 3/8" thread), quick release camera plate and repositionable pan bar.
