The Distagon T* 28mm f/2 moderate wide angle manual focus lens is based on the renowned Distagon design of the 1980s for the Contax system. This lens has been optimized with current, high performing and eco-friendly glass, incorporating a floating lens element design to optimize image quality across the entire focusing range.

The fast f/2 aperture allows for hand-held photographer under difficult lighting conditions and is well-suited for landscape, nature and commercial photography. When mounted on DSLRs with a 1.5 crop factor, the lens has an effective focal length of 42mm.
