The Sony FA-HS1AM Hot Shoe Adaptor converts the proprietary Alpha DSLR and NEX-7 mount to accept ISO 518 accessories. Use third party flash units, PocketWizard remote triggers and studio flash accessories simply by sliding them on to the adapter.

The battery powered FA-HS1AM Hot Shoe Adaptor features built-in sync protection to guard the camera from studio flash voltage. Additional features include an on/off switch to conserve power when not in use, and an LCD indicator to indicate battery life.
