DT 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom Lens Included
The solid, all-purpose SAL-1855 standard zoom lens is excellent for snapshots, portraits, interiors and more.  Coverage in 35mm equivalent is 27mm (wide-angle) to 82.5mm (midrange) and is built specifically for Alpha DSLR cameras*. The lens features silent AF operation with built-in Smooth Autofocus Motor (SAM) to handle a full range of shooting options.

High Speed Shooting
Capture up to 10 fps at full 24.3-megapixel resolution with continuous auto focus (AE locked after first frame) thanks to the power of Sony's award-winning Translucent Mirror Technology. Multi-frame NR plus Handheld Twilight mode
Low light shooting is now possible without a flash, as the a65 captures six images in a fraction of a second. Data from each of the six captures are combined to create a single image, with a reduction in noise equivalent to two additional steps of ISO sensitivity. Handheld Twilight Mode also produces night shots without a tripod. The a65 combines six frames into a single image for smooth, low-noise evening shots. (Recommended for still subjects only.)

Face Detection and Registration
The a65 can automatically detect up to eight individual faces, then adjust focus, exposure, white balance and flash to help deliver crisp, properly lit images of people. Face Registration can remember and prioritize friends and family members, including identifying as children or adults.

Sweep Panorama Mode
Capture expansive landscapes automatically. Press the shutter, then sweep vertically or horizontally. The camera continuously captures images and stitches them together.

World's First OLED Viewfinder
The Tru-Finder OLED electronic viewfinder boasts 2359K dots for ultra-high resolution, so images pop with richness, clarity and detail.
