Digital Photogography demands the exact positioning of the camera for object photography and reproductions. The new Geared Rail Clamp provides this.

The compact rail clamp is designed so the camera can be continuously adjusted around the longitudinal axis of the rail. The camera can be brought to the required position simply by turning the rotary handle. The self-locking, precision worm gear pair holds the camera in the adjusted position and position can be read off a scale.

It fits seamlessly into the Sinar system; it can be used with all Sinar view cameras that are based on the rail introduced in 1948. Sinar Rail Extensions can be screwed on to the front and back side of the Geared Rail Clamp and, for longer extensions, the clamp can be combined with existing rail clamps and the Base Plate 2.
