Nikon D7000 16.2MP DSLR with 18-105 VR Nikkor Lens

The D7000 combines a 16.2-megapixel CMOS APS-C sized sensor and the EXPEED 2 image-processing engine for enhanced performance. The 39-point AF system and groundbreaking 2,016 pixel RGB 3D Matrix Metering System delivers amazing image quality in a variety of shooting conditions. Additionally, the D7000 D-SLR provides full 1080p HD movie capability with full-time auto focus (AF), enabling users to capture their world with both striking still and moving images.

The EXPEED 2 image-processing engine combined with a 14-bit Analog / Digital conversion brings a new level of even tonal gradations while managing color, contrast, exposure, and noise resulting in brilliant image quality. EXPEED 2 also manages the D7000’s speedy 50-millisecond shutter response, blazing AF speed and rapid six frame-per-second (fps) burst speed for up to 100 images. To keep critical HD focus, users can choose to engage a variety of AF functions, including face priority to track up to 35 human faces, subject-tracking and normal or wide-area autofocus.

Included is an AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens, ideal for a broad range of shooting situations ranging from interiors , landscapes and portraits.

The ED-(Extra-low Dispersion) glass element minimizes chromatic aberration, contributing to superior optical performance. The Exclusive Nikon Silent Wave Motor (SWM) enables fast, accurate, and quiet autofocus with Nikon VR (Vibration Reduction) Image Stabilization which enables handheld shooting at up to 3 shutter speeds slower than would otherwise be possible.

Nikon MB-D11 Multi Power Battery Grip

The Nikon MB-D11 battery pack can power the D7000 camera using up to two Nikon EN-EL15 batteries or six R6/AA alkaline, Ni-MH, lithium batteries (all sold separately) for extended shooting.The MB-D11 also features a shutter release button and command dials for vertical shooting.
