Manual and Custom Setting Options
The dedicated P/S/A/M Mode dial provides easy access to Programmed, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority or Manual exposure options, plus a User mode that allows favorite settings to be saved for use at any time. Favorite settings can be assigned to the Function button located on the face of the camera for quick access. The independent Command dial provides finer creative control over settings during capture, as well as convenient functions during playback and menu operation.

The Coolpix Picture Control features profiles for defining sharpness, saturation, color adjustment and other settings prior to shooting to help achieve the ideal result.

1080p Full HD Movies with Creative Options
Record 1080p Full HD movies with stereo sound at the touch of a button, with full zoom range capability available during capture. Movies can also be creatively captured in either Slow or Fast Motion, or change the mood with built-in Special Effects and shoot in dreamy Nostalgic Sepia or Selective Color modes.
