The T3040 is identical in size to the V4000, the only difference is the dividers. The T3040 dividers are flat across the top and the V4000 dividers are notched to support a camera rail. As a strobe case the T3040 works for 3 larger flash heads such as Elinchroms, Speedotrons or Broncolors. Works for several small heads like 6 Comet CX series heads plus accessories, or 9 Norman flash heads.
