The Lensbaby Scout with Fisheye provides a fun and affordable manual focus Fisheye SLR camera lens, compatible with the Sony A Alpha and Minolta Maxxum SLR camera bodies. The Scout is the first Lensbaby lens that does not bend, and includes the Fisheye Optic for an ultra-wide 12mm focal length. The wide coverage captures a 160 degree angle of view from infinity all the way down to 1/2 inch from the front of the lens.

The Scout with Fisheye ships with the Fisheye Optic installed, and is compatible with the optional Lensbaby Optic Swap System. Use optics such as Soft Focus, Pinhole/Zone Plate, Double Glass, Single Glass, and Plastic. Using the Lensbaby selective focus optics such as Double Glass, Single Glass, and Plastic the sweet spot of focus will always be centered in the photo.

The Fisheye Optic features a creative lens flare effect, which causes the edge areas that would normally be black to glow with color whenever there are bright light sources within the image. Though the lens flare effect is prominent with a full frame camera, it can be seen with smaller sensors.

Explore macro photography with the Scout, with the ability to focus one half inch in front of the lens. Get close enough to a flower to nearly touch it, all while capturing the entire garden surrounding it within the frame.
