The K-81CC Klassic is a five section boom designed to meet the needs of ENG users and that collapses to only 24". The boom extends to 6' 9" making it easy to handle in a normal room with 8" ceilings and carried through household doorways. The base section of the K-81CC News Pole is covered with a sturdy foam grip to allow easy one hand operation, even in freezing and wet conditions.

The boom comes wired with an internal coiled cord with a XLR connector at the top and a K-Tek K-CC XLR (bottom connector) base.

• Couplings are designed for maximum holding power with a minimum of torque applied; and dust, dirt and sand proof. "Captive Collett" design makes coupling resistant to jamming.
