Wide Color Gamut and Fast Response Time
The FlexScan SX2262W reproduces 95% of the Adobe RGB color space, ideal for digital captures taken in Adobe RGB mode. Use in sRGB mode to accurately reproduce colors within a narrower color space, ideal for images seen on web pages or digital photos taken in sRGB mode. An overdrive circuit is included to reduce gray-to-gray response time to 5 ms, which ensures that video and other moving images look clean and sharp, with minimal blurring and ghosting.

Scale Non-Native Resolutions to Full Screen
When working at less than native resolution or with aspect ratios other than 16:10, the scaling function of the FlexScan SX2262W can proportionally enlarge the project, or simply expand it to fill the screen. Images can be smoothed or sharpened in five increments.

Optimized Brightness and Color Uniformity
The FlexScan SX2262W  features Auto EcoView, using a sensor located on the front of the monitor. The sensor measures the ambient light of the room, and the screen brightness is optimized so the display is never too bright or too dark. For more controlled conditions, Auto EcoView can be deactivated in the OSD menu.
The Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) compensates for brightness and chroma fluctuations that are common with large screen LCD monitors. The result is a more uniform on screen image.

Stability in Brightness and Color Temperature
To ensure proper color display, the FlexScan SX2262W comes equipped with a patented Eizo technology that stabilizes the monitor's brightness level after startup or when awakened out of power saving mode. The temperature sensor detects and automatically suppresses changes in color and brightness caused by fluctuations in the surrounding temperature.

FlexStand and Three Inputs Including DisplayPort
The FlexScan SX2262W comes with a FlexStand, which offers tilt, swivel and 90 degree rotation to portrait mode viewing, plus 8.86 inches (225 mm) of height adjustment. The innovative, bearing free design reduces mechanical wear, with a minimum amount of torque required to adjust height.

Connect with up to three PCs via the monitor's dual DVI-I inputs which accept digital and analog signals, and the DisplayPort (digital) input terminals. DisplayPort is next-generation connectivity that transmits both video and audio signals, and the monitor can display 10-bit color from a 16-bit look-up table*. The Display Port connection delivers 64 times greater color than the 16.7 million colors of 8-bit displays, resulting in even smoother color gradations and reduced Delta-E between two adjacent colors.

On-Screen Button Guide and Preset Modes
Designed for working in dimly lit environments, the SX2462W includes an on-screen button guide, labeling each one, so they can be easily navigated through the OSD menu. Three customizable preset modes can be used for assigning personal values for brightness, contrast, color temperature, and gamma. Additional modes for Text, Picture, Movie, and sRGB are also included, with modes switching automatically through the bundled ScreenManager Pro for LCD software, or manually with the press of a button.

Detailed Color Control and Simple Color Matching
The OSD menu and included ScreenManager Pro for LCD software offers adjustment of brightness, gamma, saturation, hue, gain and color temperature from 4,000 K to 10,000 K in 500 K increments. For additional fine-tuning of even a single color, the hue and saturation settings for red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow can be adjusted independently.

The Eizo EasyPIX color matching tool is ideal for digital SLR camera users looking to calibrate color between their monitors and photo prints. Match the color and brightness of the monitor with that of the photo paper, then create a profile with the bundled EX1 color sensor. No color management expertise is required, and the resulting profile can be shared with any image retouching software to further ensure accurate results when printing.

Colorblindness Simulation Software
When desigining for those with color vision deficiency, care must be taken in choosing color schemes for everyday items such as maps, road signs, web sites, and power indicator lights. With the included EIZO-developed UniColor Pro software, the FlexScan SX2262W can instantly simulate how still and moving images appear to people with color blindess vision deficiency, and with greater effeciency than software based tools which can be slowed by large files.
