The Canon PowerShot D20 digital camera is designed for intense shooting conditions, with temperature-resistance from 14 to 104 degrees F, is waterproof to 33 feet and shockproof up to 5 feet. The slim and sturdy exterior features a highly visible color layout, with its buttons that can operate even with gloved hands. The built in GPS tracker provides a record of where each image was captured.

Image quality is assured with the 12.1 Megapixel High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor combined with the DIGIC 4 Image Processor for excellent low light performance. The 5x Optical Zoom and 28mm Wide Angle Lens covers virtually any subject – video capture is available at the touch of a button.

The 28-140mm (35mm equivalent) range combined with an 5x optical zoom allows for capturing a variety of subjects, in addition to zoom capability when capturing video. Built-In GPS Technology
The PowerShot D20 digital camera is equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology that allows the camera to automatically record locations and local times of both still and video captures. Share the memories by mapping out a visual display using the bundled Map Utility software.

Dedicated Movie Button and Optical Zoom During Capture
The PowerShot D20 features a dedicated movie button that instantly starts and stops recording without the need for switches, dials or multiple menus. The optical zoom can be adjusted during capture, while an electronic wind filter suppresses noise that would normally affect or distort the audio. Images directly from the camera can be displayed through an HDTV using an optional HDMI cable, with additional control through optional CEC-enabled HDTV components.

The PowerShot D20 also allows for capture in the Apple iFrame format, a smaller video format for faster importing and editing. The final Apple iFrame project can be conveniently uploaded online or attached to an e-mail.
