This is the standard charger and power source for the Optura Xi. It will charge one battery at a time. It connects directly to the camcorder's body and the battery can be charged while the CA-570 is attached. This means you don't need to take a charger with you on a trip.

Use this adapter with Canon camcorders: Optura 10, 20, 30, 40, 300, 400 and Xi; ZR100, 200, 300, 60, 65MC and 70MC.
