The Calumet N8 Wired Remote Shutter Release Cable is a compact and easy-to-use remote switch that allows you to activate all the functions of your camera's shutter release button without touching your camera. This is useful when making long exposures and to avoid camera movement.

To activate your camera's focus, simply press the shutter button down half way. To trigger the camera's shutter, press the button completely down. for long exposures, press the button down completely and slide it in the direction of the arrow to lock it in position. When your exposure is complete then slide the remote's button back into its original position.

Compatible cameras include the Nikon N90s, F5, F6, F100, F90X, D1, D1H, D1X, D2, D3, D2Hs, D2X, D2Xs, D200, D300, D700 and Kodak DSC-14N and Fuji S3 Pro, S5 Pro.
