Introduced to compliment the smaller and more portable Explorer 1500 battery generator, the 3KM Mini Flash Head is also compatible with the QUAD2400 and QUADX Generators. Much more compact than any previous Quad head, measuring just 9" in body length and weighing only 5lbs, the 3KM maintains the quality and performance of the QUADX Flash Head.
It's a fan-cooled unit capable of handling up to 3000Ws, and with a three-electroyde design flash tube the Quad 3km offers photographers the fastest possible flash duration. When coupled with the QuadX the Quad 3km flash head offers the user different modeling modes for a variety of lighting preferences including 100%, proportional and variable control. A UV coated Pyrex dome also gives users greater color stability throughout the full range of power settings.
The Quad 3km flash head is compatible with Bowens full range of light shaping tools and accessories offering a system that is unmatched in lighting opportunities and creative versatility.
