The Better Light Rechargeable Battery is a lightweight and long-lasting battery ideal to be used with Hi-Speed USB2 scanning back system. It includes two types of batteries, lithium polymer battery and lead acid battery.

• This rechargeable battery supports the system for six hours
• To be used with USB2 scanning back system, the lithium polymer battery requires a Better Light power cable
• The gel-based lithium polymer battery is non-flammable, and more stable
• As the battery does not have an auto option for recharging, get it charged through its AC-powered recharger
• The lead-acid battery can give a power back of up to four hours
• You can recharge this Better Light rechargeable battery automatically through the control box provided the box is connected to an AC power source externally
• Use the BATT connector in order to connect the control box
• The standard version of the Better Light Rechargeable Battery is a lead-acid battery of 4 pound weight, whereas this lithium polymer battery is of 17.5 ounces weight and is approximately 7.1 x 4.3 x 0.8 inches in size
  

A lighter, smaller and safer battery for the Hi-Speed USB2 scanning back systems ("HS" models) is a lithium-polymer battery that weighs 17.5 ounces and will operate a USB2 system for over six hours. It is similar in size to our USB2 control box, about 7.1 x 4.3 x 0.8 inches. This battery includes a modified power cable from Better Light to operate a USB2 scanning back (not suitable for use with our older SCSI systems).

Lithium polymer is a non-flammable, more stable, gel base compared to liquid-based lithium-ion batteries. This battery is NOT automatically recharged by the control box, but instead must be recharged via its own AC-powered recharger (like a laptop power supply), which is included in the price. This battery connects to the PWR connector on the control box (same connector that the AC power supply normally uses).
