Like two 4-beam star screens superimposed at a rational angle of 45 degrees, this star screen generates 8 star beams. Therefore, as is the case with multibeam Spectra attachments, there should only be a few light sources with the image area and the background should have large dark areas in order for the star beams to remain recognizable.
